We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating injection molding machines. This role involves ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, to ensure product accuracy.
- Assemble and fabricate components as required, following detailed work instructions.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during production.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or defects in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Injection Mold Operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with plastics blow molding processes is a plus.
- Experience operating CNC machinery is advantageous.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments for quality inspection tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is acceptable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
